Brad Phillips’ solo exhibition at Rod Bianco (Oslo) opened on November 20, 2015. Recent solo exhibition venues include Harper’s Books (East Hampton, NY), Louis B. James Gallery (New York), The Residence Gallery (London), and Wallspace Gallery (New York). Phillips has exhibited alongside Joshua Abelow at 247365 (Brooklyn), Mark Delong and Keith Mayerson at Galleri Benoni (Copenhagen), Jayson Musson and Eric Yahnker at Division Gallery (Montreal), Devin Troy Strother at The Drain (Los Angeles), and Karl Holmqvist at Jessica Bradley (Toronto). Phillips’ work has been featured in group shows at The Hole (New York), M + B (Los Angeles), O.H.W.O.W. Gallery (Miami), Blum & Poe (Los Angeles), Museum of Contemporary Canadian Art (Toronto), and Peres Projects (Los Angeles), and in shows curated by artists Tim Barber, Slater Bradley, Keith Mayerson, and Holly Coulis. Phillips illustrated the front and back cover of Bunny Roger’s book, “My Apologies Accepted”, and collaborated with photographer Aaron McElroy to create the cover design of McElroy’s book, “The Devil May Care”, both published in 2014. Phillips has received press mentions from New York Times Magazine, Modern Painters, New York Magazine, Blackbook, Boston Globe, White-hot Magazine, The Believer, and Frieze magazine.
